We came here because we honestly just needed to disconnect from the world for a little while, and this cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved absolutely everything about our stay. The rustic feel of the cabin made it feel so cozy and peaceful, and we loved being able to go for a hike during the day, then come back, fire up the grill, and relax in the hot tub. At night, we’d curl up together on the pull-out couch until it was finally time to head upstairs to bed. It was simple, quiet, and honestly perfect. There was something really special about slowing down, getting away from the noise of everyday life, and just enjoying each other and the beauty around us. This cabin gave us exactly the kind of getaway we needed, and we left feeling rested, reconnected, and already wishing we could stay a little longer. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again. ❤️

A lovely private get away! Cabin was spacious. We were a little disappointed to find the nice grill in the picture replaced with a heavily used cheaper grill. We had to clean it and the upper rack was broken and had to be removed to use it. We still enjoyed cooking our meals on it nightly and appreciated all the needed tools. We spent lots of time on the porch. We brought our own chairs (from past experiences elsewhere with bad chairs) but their chairs on the porch were actually comfy! We enjoyed the hot tub of course! All and all the privacy, nature, and overall space was an absolute delight! I have some issues with my knees so if they installed a small handrail to aid in getting up the stairs I would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a quiet secluded spot, this is it! The hot tub and fire pit were nice touches.

Cons- there was no sponges to wash the dishes, and there was cobwebs all over the ceiling, and dirty food stuck to the silverware. The couch had stains on it from where you could tell someone had either spilt something or let their animals up on the couch. Some of the towels smelled bad, and the water pressure to the shower was not good. The propane for the grill was empty, and the pots and pans for use had all the non stick coating on them peeling off so they were unsafe to use. Make sure if you’re driving, that you have a good car that won’t scrape because the drive way is terrible to get into, we had to use 4WD in our vehicle. Pros- people left seasonings for cooking and they kept them for others to use. The ac was great and the room temp was good and the bed was amazing!! The hot tub was great and very clean, and the nature around was beautiful. The nature is amazing and we seen so many things that we do not have in Ohio. And the privacy was great, great location! Overall 8.5/10

This is a lovely, peaceful cottage. You are definitely in a private, secluded area. The cabin had everything we needed for a fun weekend getaway. We loved the pull out couch to watch movies in the evening, the hot tub for relaxing after hikes, and the grill for most of our meals.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. They provided all of the essentials in the event we forgot something. We loved the rural setting and loved hearing the horses and chickens.

instructions out there can be a little tricky, make sure you pre plan! definitely a beautiful spot! very isolated and quite! saw a family of black bears in the front yard! if it storms, the power likes too go out! which makes it even better, just be prepared, no service once that wifi’s off! 10/10 would go again!
