We spent a few days here and didn’t want to leave. We loved how quiet and peaceful it is. The only chattering we heard were the birds. Somehow, we got incredibly lucky, and had springlike temperatures in June, so, most of our time here we spent outside on the deck or in the hot tub. We cooked all of our meals and had plenty of kitchen supplies to meet our needs. The washer and dryer was convenient, so, we didn’t have to bring home dirty hiking clothes. Finally, we deliberately visited during a new moon, so we could best take advantage of the areas certified dark sky designation. We spent a couple of hours, in the field by the house, under the stars, each night. We saw shooting stars, planets and the Milky Way. We’re already thinking about when we can visit next.
